The MCAA “Sonce” has been promoting Macedonian folklore dances and songs in the UK since November 2003. Our main purpose is to raise the Macedonian folklore spirit within the Macedonian community in the UK and at the same time to present it in various occasions to the British public.

The most essential matters in achieving our objectives are: recruiting new members, regularly providing premises for practice and obtaining folk dresses and national instruments .

Any help is warmly welcomed and at present we offer three ways of cooperation:

1. Membership (£10p/m)

2. Donation (recommended £20+ p/m)

3. Sponsorship (Sponsorship agreement)

- Membership entitles you to the rights and duties proscribed with the Statute. You will be expected to attend the practice sessions and be prepared to perform in front of an audience. Also, you will be issued with a membership card which will give you all

the Statutory rights.

- Donation of £10+ per month would give you an automatic membership and also the right to be listed or mentioned as a donator on our web site or other promotional tools. As a Donator you won’t be expected to attend a practice session or perform at concerts, but would have all the Statutory rights as a member.

- Sponsors can accept offers from MCAA Sonce or make their own Proposals. It doesn’t automatically make them members, unless it is specified so in the Agreement.

Membership fee or donation can be paid:

- In person on any meeting or training session.
