On 17th of November 2003, Macedonian Cultural and Artistic Association "Sonce" was founded in London. The inaugural meeting took place at the Bonnington Hotel; the president was elected and a draft statute document of the association was presented. An initiative committee was formed who will consider the statute document and report in one month's time to decide on the final version of the statute document and to elect an executive committee. On the meeting held on 15th of December 2003 according to the formulated statute, 
the members of the executive committee were appointed and a vice-president was elected. Two members of the association were chosen to be the leaders of the correspondence team, in charge of the choreography and  two members to be in charge of the vocal and instrumental section.
